Haiti - a land in need
A land still reeling with the effects
of a major hurricane in 2008, Haiti was struck by a major earthquake,
followed by after- shocks which in themselves would be considered major
earthquakes. Home, businesses and essential services infrastructure
now lie in rubble. An estimated 200,000 (that's two hundred
thousand!!) people have died with thousands more still unaccounted for.
A disaster of this magnitude certainly grabs our attention and grieves our
hearts. What can we do from here? Here are some ideas...

Volunteers will be needed again after the winter snow leaves in 2010.
